AmeriBag 15" Leather Healthy Back Bag Tote® (Extra Small)

I love the bag, except that the color they sent me was not as pictured. It is a very dark brown, not the reddish brown which I prefer.

The quality and workmanship are excellent, I think. I bought the XS size, and my only negative feedback involves smartphone space. There is really no convenient place to put your smartphone in the XS size bag. In the past, I owned the small size - and the smartphone easily fit in a pocket on the outside of the bag. All of the exterior pockets in the XS size are too small for a smartphone. And the smartphone is very difficult to remove from the inside pockets of an XS bag. I hope that Ameribag improves their design for the XS bag -smartphone access from an exterior pocket is really a requirement these days for many of us.

I bought this bag to replace a similar one from LL Bean that went missing. I like the conformation and the weight of it. It’s a bit stiff as of yet, but the leather will probably soften up over time. The only negative is the inside pocket on the spine; it’s a bit too narrow for my phone (which is a small model).

It is the best purse I have owned. This is my second one. It is the perfect size for what I carry. My previous one has lost some color from the leather and I don't know how to restore it. I will probably donate it to a local charity thrift store. Thank you for a superior product. Karen Boivin

This is my wife's third Healthy Back Bag which says a lot! It is very well made and designed to last for years. We did, however, return it as it was a bit small for all her stuff. We will be re-ordering the same one in 17" in the very near future.
