AmeriBag 15" Leather Healthy Back Bag Tote® (Extra Small)

First off I don't like the magnetic magnets in the pockets for the closer - there's two separate zipper pockets inside one with foam padding for protection like your tablet or phone and has a key clip with a d-ring in the very top of the bag along with total interior inside pockets of 8 & the main compartment when you open the bag with the zippers so in total nine 9 interior inside pockets with the outside pockets a total of 5 five on the outside the leather is very soft and has an adjustable strap and the strap has a light foam padding ; the brown color is amazing called Expresso the size is bigger than I thought for the size extra small ; overall I got it for a replacement that I remembered receiving from my dad at a Goodwill thrift store that he originally found this bag at

Just the right size for everyday use and it’s leather!!!

I love the bag, except that the color they sent me was not as pictured. It is a very dark brown, not the reddish brown which I prefer.

The quality and workmanship are excellent, I think. I bought the XS size, and my only negative feedback involves smartphone space. There is really no convenient place to put your smartphone in the XS size bag. In the past, I owned the small size - and the smartphone easily fit in a pocket on the outside of the bag. All of the exterior pockets in the XS size are too small for a smartphone. And the smartphone is very difficult to remove from the inside pockets of an XS bag. I hope that Ameribag improves their design for the XS bag -smartphone access from an exterior pocket is really a requirement these days for many of us.

I bought this bag to replace a similar one from LL Bean that went missing. I like the conformation and the weight of it. It’s a bit stiff as of yet, but the leather will probably soften up over time. The only negative is the inside pocket on the spine; it’s a bit too narrow for my phone (which is a small model).
